A Note on Privacy and Specificity

This site will sometimes talk about venues, operations, and technical systems in general terms.

That is intentional.

The purpose is to capture ideas without exposing private details. The patterns are usually more important than the specifics anyway.

A monitoring lesson learned in one environment may apply to many others. A workflow problem from one project may rhyme with another. A tool built for a specific need can often be described in a way that protects the source while preserving the lesson.

That is the balance I am aiming for.
